The rules
3 steps.
- Whoever holds the phone reads the take aloud.
- They then argue for it for thirty seconds, agree or not.
- The rest of the table argues back, then the phone passes on.
What the phone does
The phone deals takes and never repeats one in a session. It has no opinion about who won.
It is a dealer and a scorekeeper, never a judge. It cannot hear the room and it does not decide who was right.
