No Japanese word begins with ん, so ending on it loses immediately. That rule is the whole game.

The rules
4 steps.
- The phone shows a kana. Say a word starting with it.
- The next player says a word starting with the last kana of yours.
- No repeats. The group tracks what has been said.
- Tap correct or wrong for each answer.
What the phone does
The phone deals the starting kana, times each turn, and enforces the ん rule.
It is a dealer and a scorekeeper, never a judge. It cannot hear the room and it does not decide who was right.
