The rules
4 steps.
- The phone deals a starting letter.
- Say a word beginning with it, then tell the phone which letter your word ended on.
- The next player starts from that letter, with no repeats all game.
- Run out of time or repeat a word and you are out.
What the phone does
The phone deals the letter, runs the clock and tracks who is still playing. It does not check whether a word is real — the room does.
It is a dealer and a scorekeeper, never a judge. It cannot hear the room and it does not decide who was right.
