The rules
5 steps.
- Play normally: match the suit or the number.
- Or play a card face down. It does not have to be legal.
- The next player either calls it or lets it go.
- Called and lying? Take the card back plus three. Called wrongly? The caller takes three.
- Say "last card" on one, and go out to win the round.
What the phone does
The phone shows the face-down card to nobody but the person who played it, and only reveals it if somebody calls.
It is a dealer and a scorekeeper, never a judge. It cannot hear the room and it does not decide who was right.
